Celebrity Cruise Line's "Celebrity Century"

The last ship inspection I had the honor of doing, was with Celebrity Cruise Line, on their "Celebrity Century," although this is the only ship that hasn't been renovated (or isn't on the immediate list to be renovated) it was still a spectacular ship, if you like old world charm and the classic style of cruising. The photo on the right is the main atrium, that beautiful blue is classic Celebrity.

I had to add this photo of course, since I am a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe.. this was in the Celebrity art gallery. Now my only wonder is, is that really Marilyn's signature? :)

Their unrenovated theatre.. not bad at all.

The Century's vodka bar. The bar is made of real ICE! The newer ships center the bar in the middle of the room but still keep the amazing and changing colored lights.

Great pool on deck with grills and bars outside for dining. Plus outdoor ping pong and other table games. Next door to this pool is also a coffee bar and second level lounge area to overlook the sea.

The Century's specialty dining area, a minimal fee will get you a five diamond dining experience.. The dining area holds not even 100 guests and reservations must be made in advance.

The Main dining room where you will eat on a regular basis, either at around 6PM or 8PM. Actually one of my favorite dining areas, on all of the ships I've been on because of the large space and windows. I've never experienced such great views and open space in another dining room, of any cruise line.

Just a sneak peek about some of the Celebrity renovated ships...live lawn on board (real grass!), a full micro brewery, and a wine tower that holds over 1,000 bottles of wine! See ya soon!

Disney Cruise Line's "Disney Wonder"

It's been a long time coming for a new post, sorry guys! Earlier this month, the Disney Wonder was at the Port of San Francisco on its way up to Vancouver and a few select travel agents got to visit, lucky for my coworker and I! I have to say it has been, so far, my FAVORITE ship. This is not because I am super crazy Disney fan but because for a ship that is suppose to be for families and children, there is tons of things to do for the 21 and up. And it is perfect for young parents (or any parents) who want a vacation for themselves too. Plus it has Disney service and extreme attention for detail in every corner of the ship.

With a slide like this, the kids won't want to come to the adult pool!

Just one of three main dining rooms on the Disney Wonder. Unlike other cruises, you won't be eating in the same place every night, you rotate every night to a new restaurant! Plus, you still have your poolside grills, cafes and specialty  dining. This restaurant is The Animator's Palate. When you first walk in, everything is black and white, throughout the night everything turns to color, including your napkin and your waiter!

A night club for adults only, shows, cocktails, and dancing..

Disney's attention to detail. If only I had this floor in my house!

Night club for 18 and under only... seriously no adults allowed!

Cadillac bar..

Arcade

In the atrium. Gorgeous!

Disney's specialty dining restaurant. You'll want to make a reservation, BEFORE you cruise. They offer brunch, high tea, and dinner.

After all this food, you'll need to workout. Each treadmill has it's own TV or you can just enjoy your view!
Of course, these are only a few reasons to go on a Disney cruise. They also have an awesome spa, 3 pools, nightly shows, and more! Plus great itineraries all over the world. The Disney Wonder is currently doing 7 night round trip cruises to Alaska from Vancouver.

A view like this is only captured on board :)
